On 22–23 November 2025, the National Project Director (NPD) of SWAPNO II, Dr. Md Monirul Islam, Joint Secretary, LGD, accompanied by UNDP officials, conducted field visits to Patuakhali and Pirojpur districts to observe ongoing project activities.

During the visits, they reviewed various income-generating activities, assessed the progress of training programs, and observed how financial support and entrepreneurship development initiatives are being implemented. The visits highlighted the positive impact of SWAPNO II in empowering women, enhancing economic independence, and promoting sustainable livelihoods.

The NPD and team provided guidance and constructive feedback to further strengthen project interventions and ensure continued support for women’s economic empowerment.
