Project Snapshot

SWAPNO (2014–2026) began in 2014 and expanded from 2 to 12 districts through multiple phases. After its initial and extension phases (2014–2022), an Initiation Phase (2022–2023) laid the foundation for SWAPNO Phase II (2023–2026), which focuses on sustainable livelihoods and women’s economic empowerment in 283 unions across 32 Upazilas in 12 districts.
Primary beneficiaries: 10,188 ultra-poor women headed households
