IMED Visit SWAPNO Field Sites to Review Progress and Impact
Representatives from the Implementation Monitoring and Evaluation Division (IMED), accompanied by the National Project Manager of SWAPNO, conducted a field visit on 09 April 2026 across Pirgacha (Rangpur) and Domar (Nilphamari) to observe project progress and engage directly with beneficiaries. The visit included meetings with Union Parishad officials and participants, as well as site visits to apprenticeship training initiatives, entrepreneur-led businesses, and income-generating activities such as banana cultivation. Discussions focused on beneficiary selection, wage payment systems, training quality and outcomes, use of digital accounting applications, and pathways to employment and entrepreneurship. Beneficiaries shared their personal journeys, current economic status, and future aspirations, while also highlighting areas for further support. The visit provided valuable insights into the effectiveness of SWAPNO’s interventions and identified opportunities for strengthening implementation at the field level.
